An independent agency is one that provides products and marketing/creative services to brand owners and others whereby the equity ownership and/or management decision making (ie through designated share structure such as B shares) of the agency is controlled (at least 50%) by those that directly work in the business.

The Alliance membership plays a vital role in helping grow the capability, profitability and relevance of our member agencies. As a member, you know the value The Alliance membership has had in your agency.
The Alliance Member Get Member is your opportunity to share the value of The Alliance membership with your friends and colleagues. Not only can you take pride in supporting The Alliance, but if the prospective member agency signs up we will reward you with a free Alliance training session to the value of £150 that can be used for you or your team. (Valid for 12 months)
Getting involved is simple:
Introduce them via email and cc terry@allindependentagencies.org.
We will take it from there, arrange a call and take them through the Alliance benefits.
If they sign up then congrats, you have successfully referred a new member! We will contact you and let you know how to redeem your incentive!
The Alliance of Independent Agencies (The Alliance) ‘Member Get Member’ Scheme is open and available to agencies who are current members of The Alliance who wish to nominate new agencies to join The Alliance.
For purposes of this scheme Member Agency refers to current members of the The Alliance and Prospective Member Agency refers to agencies not currently The Alliance Members.
For Member Agencies to activate the member get member reward their Prospective Member Agencies must pay for a full years membership. If choosing to pay monthly Prospective Members must commit to a full calendar year of The Alliance Membership .
There are no limits to the number of referrals a member agency can make.
The Prospective Member Agency must be an independent agency working in Advertising, Marketing or PR.
Once the Prospective Member Agency has been accepted to The Alliance Membership and their membership fee has been paid, the Member Get Member scheme will grant you a voucher of the value of £150 to use across the Alliance digital training catalogue.
The Alliance reserves the right to amend or withdraw this scheme without notice at any time.
